About Taghazout Surf Trip: started with one board and a spare room.

Two spare rooms in 2016 and a promise to only coach in small groups. The house grew; the promise didn't.

One surfer who wanted to teach it right.

Ayoub grew up around this stretch of coast and spent years coaching friends and drop-in visitors before deciding to make it official: one board, a spare room, and a promise to only ever teach in small groups.

Taghazout Surf Trip is what happened when "just come stay with us" turned into an actual house, and a small team of local coaches joined to help do it properly. It has been taking guests in Taghazout since 2016, and the packages are organised by Surf Camp Taghazout LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 16350824. The full contract sits in the booking terms.

And the people who make it feel like a house.

Fatiha runs the kitchen and has strong opinions about tagine. Habib keeps the house running and knows every taxi driver in Taghazout by name. You'll meet both within an hour of arriving.

Small on purpose

Small groups, always. We'd rather turn a week away than double up on coaches.

Locally rooted

Every coach either grew up on this coast or has surfed it for a decade. The forecast is a starting point, not the answer.

Honest, not polished

Some weeks the swell doesn't deliver. We'll tell you that upfront and make the rest of the trip count.

The coaches

ISA-certified, and they actually surf here.

Taghazout Surf Trip has three surf coaches, all certified by the International Surfing Association (ISA) at Level 1 or Level 2 in surf instruction and water safety, and all working in groups no larger than six. Youssef is head coach and holds ISA Level 2; Marie and Hamza hold ISA Level 1. All three surf this coast the whole year rather than arriving for a season.
