For the December–March peak, 6–8 weeks ahead is safest. Outside peak season 2–3 weeks is usually fine, though popular weeks still sell out.

Solo is a bed in the shared room for one person. For Two is a private ensuite for a couple or two friends. Group & Family is for six or more and works for mixed abilities, with rooms split across the house or the whole house to yourselves. Compare them on the packages page.

Yes, it applies from six people upwards. Below six, Solo is the price that applies, and you can still all book onto the same dates.

You can cancel in writing at any time before arrival. More than 30 days before, we refund what you have paid less any cancellation costs we cannot recover. Between 15 and 30 days, and again inside 14 days, a higher charge may apply because rooms and transport are already committed. Any charge has to be reasonable and we will justify it if you ask. We will also look at moving your dates instead, subject to availability. The full position is in our booking terms, and we strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.

Often, yes. Tell us as early as you can and we will try, subject to availability and to what the accommodation and transport allow. If something has to be rebooked at a cost, we tell you before anything is charged.

Yes. You can transfer your booking to someone else who meets the conditions of the package, as long as you give us reasonable notice. We may pass on the reasonable costs of making the change, and we will show you what they are.

It is rare, but if it happens we offer you comparable accommodation or refund everything you have paid, in full, with no deduction.

Prices are per night and depend on your surf level, and a stay can be any length from 3 nights. Solo is €60 per person per night (€70 if your level is intermediate), For Two is €135 per pack of two people (€155), and Group & Family, for six or more, is €55 per person (€65). So a 3-night Solo stay is €180 or €210, and a week is €420 or €490. The packages page has the full comparison.

No. The package price covers everything listed for that package. Room upgrades are priced separately and shown to you before you pay for them.

No. At checkout you choose either a 20% deposit or the full amount. Both are a single card payment.

No. Coaching is matched to your level and to the day’s conditions, so improvers and returning surfers work on their own thing rather than repeating a first lesson.

It depends on the conditions and your level. Anchor Point, Killer Point, Boilers, Hash Point, Panorama, Banana Point, Devil’s Rock and Mysteries are all within reach; the surf guide describes them by level.

We move to whichever break is working. The coastline here holds a lot of options at different exposures, so a flat day at one spot rarely means a flat day everywhere.

October to April is the main season. December to early March brings the most powerful swell; June to September is the warmest and calmest water. The surf guide has a month-by-month table.

Yes — a large share of our guests arrive on their own, and coached sessions mean you are never in the water by yourself.

Taghazout is a small surf village and one of the most visited spots on Morocco's coast; our guests walk to the beach and the cafés day and night. Use the same common sense as anywhere: don't leave a phone on the beach, agree the taxi fare before you get in, and dress modestly in the village. The house has lockers in the dorm and someone at the house every day. The real risk is the sea, which is why lessons run in groups of six with an ISA-certified coach and beginners learn on the sandy beach breaks.

Yes, return transfers from Agadir are included in every package — pickup and drop-off both.

That is fine. The surf guide covers the routes from Agadir, including buses and taxis.

It depends on your nationality, and requirements can change. Check with the relevant authorities before you travel, and make sure your passport is valid for the trip.

It is not included and we strongly recommend it. Make sure it covers cancellation, medical expenses and surfing as an activity.

We are. We are the organiser of your package and we are responsible for the proper performance of the services included in it — including the ones carried out by people we engage, such as the airport transfer. For Two includes a private ensuite. On the other packages you can add a private twin or triple as an upgrade, priced per room per night and shown before you pay.

Yes. There is a women-only shared room — ask for it when you book and we will keep you a bed in it.

Full board, every day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. On excursion days and when you are out surfing we pack a lunch, so no day is an exception.

Yes. We can adapt to any dietary requirement. Tell us once you have booked and we will arrange it with the kitchen.

Alcohol is allowed in the house. We do not sell it, so bring your own if you would like a drink.

Yes, children are welcome from age 4.

Yes. They get the same room, meals and yoga, and can join the excursions on the seven-night weeks. Message us and we will price it.

The seven-night weeks include four: Paradise Valley, an argan oil village, Souk El Had in Agadir, and sandboarding on the Timlaline dunes.
